Breast Lift
Technical: This surgery requires general
anesthesia, and takes Dr. Eberbach approximately 1 1/2 hours to
perform. Almost all patients choose to have the surgery done at
his private surgery center. You will not need a drain or
special bandages, and you will wake up with little or no
discomfort. Breast lifting is less painful than breast
augmentation and the recovery is usually a little faster. It is
common however to include a breast enlargement with a breast
lift to obtain a complete rejuvenation.
Recovery: Most patients feel well after two
days and resume normal activities and sedentary work at one
week. Patients may resume their athletic endeavors at three
weeks. The sutures used for this procedure are dissolving and
will be trimmed at about one week. You may travel after one
week and drive when you are no longer taking narcotics and your
reaction time returns to normal.
